Henry Falk and Joe LaDou 
To celebrate the progress we have made, and to recognize those among us whose contributions have helped significantly advance occupational and environmental health. In this regard I was pleased to present the SOEH/Alliance to End Childhood Lead Poisoning's Vernon Houk Award to Henry Falk, CDC, for his exemplary lifetime contribution toward reducing childhood lead exposure. Dr. Falk has provided strong leadership in this area throughout his career and it was a privilege to recognize him for it.
